Mylester's reviews: George Duke - Guardian of the Light
by Myles King

( "mylester's reviews" title sequence )

Me: Hey, guys. It's your boy, Myles a.k.a. mylesterlucky7 and I welcome you to another fantastic, super-groovy installment of "Mylester's reviews". Today, I'm going to write a review of a classic music CD from the late George Duke. Why George Duke, you ask? Well, as you know, I've always loved some George Duke back when I was young and he's played a mean clavitar and keyboards. I enjoyed him. Sadly, almost 3 years ago, Duke passed away, but his music still lives on. All that being said and all, I'm reviewing the most classic album from 1983: "Guardian of the Light". Check it out.

(music on the CD starts)

It starts with "Overture", which is a classic one with the guitar, bass, horns, strings and yes, keys. It's kinda like a special show theme music. It's pretty fun and it gets me dancing to the beat.

Another classic tune on this CD is "Light". This song takes a pretty interesting prespective on how light can save someone from darkness and the light has precious power and shines throughout the world. It's clear to see that when I hear that song, it's like seeing light to help me guide the way.

One of the most classic songs I enjoy much is Reach Out, one of the most super-fine classic tunes on this album is like somebody reaching out and all through troubles and hardships. It's like love so tender and it makes me hear those lyrics feel like passion and tender.

And, the last track on this CD I enjoy most is "Silly Fightin'". Sometimes, when people fight over some things they fight about on but when I hear this song, most couples should understand that there are better ways to work things out peacefully than fighting and arguing over some stuff they don't know. Now, sure, I might not have a girlfriend yet, but still, this song  makes couples remember what is best.

Well, there you have it. My review on "Guardian of the Light" by George Duke. What do I think of it? I think that was a pretty classic. I give this a 9 out of 10 music notes. That's my review for today. Hope you enjoyed it as I did. Oh, yes, and come July: In honor of Pixar's 30th anniversary, I thought it would be special that all month long, I'm gonna do "Disney-Pixar" month on Mylester's reviews! It's gonna be fun, so be sure to stay tuned for this one. Till next time, Myles a.k.a. mylesterlucky7 saying thank you for joining in the fun and as always, share your love with one another and keep God first place. He's going to take you places that you've never dreamed of. Peace, everybody!
This is my review for a classic George Duke album.
