Mylester's reviews: Street Fighter
by Myles King

( "mylester's reviews" title sequence )

Me: Hi, everybody. Myles a.k.a. mylesterlucky7 here bringing you another exciting edition of "mylester's reviews". Now, as you all know, I am almost at my 25th review. I can't tell you what it is, 'cause I want this to be a big surprise. But for now, I would like to do a review on a movie based on one of the most popular video games in video game history. No, not Sonic the Hedgehog or Super Mario Bros. I'm talking about a super awesome kick-ass fighting video game. It's "Street Fighter"! Now, the video game began back in the late 80's, but back in 1994, they did a movie based on that. I was probably too young for that, but now I can see why that movie was based on that game. Let's begin, yes?

This movie starts in Shadaloo city, where the crazed, evil dictator M. Bison and the other allied nations are in a war between them. Recently, he captured 3 A.N. team members and ordered to have a ransom of 20 billion dollars in exchange for their lives. But if Guile, Bison's commanding officer doesn't do that in 3 days, the hostages would die. Guile refuses and vows to track that dictator bastard down. But, with the help of his partner Cammy, they pinpointed Bison to the city. One of Guile's close friend named Charlie was held hostage. Even though he was serverly disfigured, the Dr. Dhlashim was able to help him out to maintain his humanity.

Meanwhile, Ryu and Ken who are traveling con masters trick Sagat with fake weaponry which they tried. Then, the fight began and it was about to get crazy, but then, the fight was interrupted by Vega and has everyone arrested for breaking a curfew. But while in prison, Ryu and Ken fought against Sagat's henchmen. Now that's something you don't see all the time. Guile witnesses this and asks these young fighters to be recruited in exchange for their freedom. Wow! That was a nice offer. The young fighters happily accept and they were on their way to thwart Bison's plans.

Also, a reporter named Chun-Li and his crew E. Honda and Barlog are planning to work together to fight off Bison and his dangerous ideas. So, at a party, they attempt to destroy Bison. But that was stopped when Ryu and Ken to reveal to them in order to maintain Bison's trust. Man, I tell you, that is crazy idea, but it's a risk anybody would take. Let's hope this thing can be over soon.

Bison returns to his base and inducts Ryu, Ken and Vega and orders them to capture their friends. But just when things were going to be good, Bison unleashes some sleeping gas to make them sleep. Seriously, who would use that stuff? Huh? Meanwhile, Guile learns about the situation and attempts to plan an assault on Bison's base. But Guile has been briefly impeded about the situation and the only way to put an end to it was to pay the ransom. But Guile doesn't listen and he goes on with his plan. A fight ensues and Guile recognizes his friend. But before he knew it, Bison was about to use him to kill the hostages by unleashing the beast. Soon, Guile arrives in time and tries to hold Charlie off until the remaining troops has arrived. Guile orders the fighters to look for the hostages and save them, and he and Bison fight against each other while Ryu and Ken fight off Vega and Sagat and the 2 good guys manage to barely defeat them.

Soon, Guile uses the upper hand and Bison was hit with lots of shock. And soon, the place was about to explode. The fighters have rescued the hostages and Guile stays behind to convince the doctor and Charlie to return with him. They refused, but the doctor atone to Charlie for his mutation. Guile manages to escape and reunite with the comrades. And as the base collapse, the team poses from Street Fighter 2 and that is the end of this amazing adventure!

And that's "Street Fighter"! Most of them like it, most of them don't, but for me: I think that was the most incredible movie based on that game!

Good things:
- Awesome plot
- Impressive cast
- Greame Revell providing the music
- Kick-ass fighting scenes
- Jean-Claude Van Deame playing an awesome role of Guile

Bad things:
Guile's friend turned into a nasty monster
- M. Bison being a power-hungry bozo

My favorite characters:
- Ken
- Ryu
- Guile
- Chun-Li
- Cammy
- E Honda
- Blanka
- Dee Jay

My least favorite characters:
- M. Bison (like I said, he's a power crazy psycho!)
- Vega
- Sagat
- M. Bison's henchmen

Overall, that movie really rocks! I give it 10 out of 10. And, that's all the time I have for today. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Join me again next time when I have a surprise 25th review and I hope you love it. For now, I'm Myles King a.k.a. mylesterlucky7 and until I see you again: Keep God first place, he's going to take you anywhere that you've never dreamed. Adieu, everybody.
I'm only one more review till my 25th, but check out this awesome review on a movie based on the classic video games. :icondandyandy1989:, I hope your experience on "Street Fighter" video games have paid off.
