Mylester's reviews:
Summer Movie Review week 2015

Me: Hey, everybody, Myles a.k.a. mylesterlucky7 welcoming you to our last day of "Summer Movie Review" week of the year on "Mylester's reviews". I hope you enjoyed those reviews of the summer movies I've done this week from a superhero movie to a funny animated movie. And now, I'm going to review a very inspirational movie with a bit of drama and some prayer. I'm talking about "War Room". A movie about a family that has changed with a simple prayer. Now I've seen some faith based films, but none so special and inspirational as this one. Let us begin now.

shows clips from the movie

The movie begins about a woman narrating about wars to battle for America and the world, but there is also a war between relationships and that most people don't win wars by arguing. But, there is a way you can win fight, with the power of God. Believe me, friends, I know what it's like to pray for those who are doing everything they an to live life well.

There's also a family named the Jordans. They have some great jobs, a beautiful daughter and a dream home. But as they say, looks are deciving. A man named Tony has a serious unimaginable temptation with a woman and his wife, Elizabeth is struggling to help the family come together. Suddenly, she meets a client named Miss Clara. Clara shows Elizabeth her special room where she made battle plans for the family and Elizabeth is challenged to do the war room and make a battle plan for her family. And Elizabeth does. Now, that's something nobody has ever done before.

Next up, Elizabeth makes a special prayer and asks the devil to back down and asks God to help the family and even though the family doesn't deserve it, God was still there with them no matter what. Elizabeth's husband leaves to go home while on a business trip and things start a little bit tough, but then something happened. Tony has lost his job and he realizes he made some mistakes and he went on his knees and begged God for a second chance to make things right with his wife and daughter and promises to be a better husband and father.

As time went by, the Jordan family have changed for the better and soon, Danielle asks daddy to be a part of the double dutch team which he happily agrees. And after some time, they were on their way to the competition where Tony saw his former boss feeling upset over a flat tire and he helps him out by putting a spare tire. That's a sign of kindness. I love that. And at the competition, even though Tony and Danille and the team got 2nd place, it's still a blessing that God knows they've done their best. Next, Elizabeth gets another visit with Miss Clara where she meets Clara's son who is the manager of the city. In the end, the Jordan family has changed their lives thanks to Miss Clara's guidance and wisdom and Clara makes a prayer for millions and millions of people in this planet to make sure that with God on their side, life has new possibilities, they can fight the good fight in prayer and nothing can take away what they have done.

And there you have it. "War Room". I loved this movie and it nearly brought me to tears because I've seen some faith in movies and about how God can change their lives. It was beautiful.

Good things:

- Inspiring story
- Outstanding cast
- Powerful scenes throughout the movie

Bad things:

- Tony's bad dream about the family

My favorite characters:

- The Jordans
- Miss Clara

Overall, I give this movie beyond a 10 because of some very special inspiration from God! And, that concludes my "Summer Movie Review" week of 2015.
